NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (NTRO7949) affecting the Old Road from its junction with Stokesby New Road for 500m south-westwards in the PARISH OF ACLE to facilitate stud removal, road marking and stud replacement works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 and 06:00 from 1st to 3rd May 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 3 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: Main Road, Heath Road, Repps Road, Mill Lane, High Road, Norwich Road, Caister Bypass, Yarmouth Road, Caister Road, Lawn Avenue, North Quay, Acle New Road, A47 J A12/A149 Roundabout, A47 From J A12 To J A1064 (Filby, Halvergate, Fleggburgh, Mautby, Ashby with Oby, Repps with Bastwick, West Caister, Ormesby St. Margaret with Scratby, Caister-on-Sea, Ormesby St. Michael, Rollesby).
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
